Greenville Eye Clinic provide patients with the finest eye care services and latest technology in the Mississippi Delta. Doctor Lord, Dcctor Allison and the staff are dedicated to providing comprehensive eyecare of the highest quality to our community by utilizing the most up-to-date instrumentation and through continuing education each year. The areas of practice emphasis are general eye health exams, the treatment of ocular disease and comanagement of both laser vision correction surgery and cataract surgery. We are very proud of our experienced staff and the professional eye care services we offer. Dr. Wilburn Lord Jr.

Dr. Wilburn Lord, Jr. has practiced Optometry in the Delta for 34 years. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and the Southern College of Optometry.  Dr. Lord is  certified to diagnose, treat, and manage eye diseases and disorders. In 1998, Dr. Lord completed the Southern Diplomat Program and received certification in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. He is involved with the Diabetic Initiative in MS and is a provider for the InfantSee Program.  Dr. Lord has received additional training in the comanagement of laser vision correction surgery (LASIK). Dr. Lord is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Contact Lens and Corneal Section, and is Past -President of the Mississippi Optometric Association where he currently serves as Chairman of the Third Party Committee and serves on the Long Range Planning Committee and the Finance Committee

.In 2006, he was the receipient of the MOA Optometrist of the Year award.  He is also a member of the Northwest Central Optometric Society and the Southern Council of Optometrists, and serves on the Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee.

 Dr. Lord has also served as President of the Southeastern Congress of Optometrists whose mission is to provide continuing education for optometrists and eye care professionals worldwide. He is a member of Washington County Opportunity Health Advisory Committee, was involved with Leadership Washington County and was a member of the initial Kellogg's Delta Emerging Leaders Class.

Dr. Lord partners with the Good Samaritan Health Center to provide eye health services for the working uninsured of Greenville, Washington County and the Mid-Delta






Dr. M. Allison Lord received her Doctorate in Optometry in 2006 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and began practicing with her father in 2007.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Marine Science from the University of Alabama in 2002.

The dedication to using her professional skills to help others is evident in her involvement in volunteer activities.  She is a provider for the InfantSee program, a public health program designed to ensure that eye and vision care becomes an integral part of infant wellness care, and volunteered for their state tour in 2011.  She provides eye health services for the working uninsured through her partnership with the Good Samaritan Health Center. 

Dr. Allison, as she is referred to by her patients, is a member of the American Optometric Association and a Board Member of the Mississippi Optometric Association since 2008.  She enjoys working with new graduates in Optometry while serving as Co-Chair on the AGU (Assistant to Graduates and Undergraduates) Committee for UAB since 2008.
She is a member of the Southern Council of Optometrists serving as a volunteer on the Exhibits Committee and a member of the Northwest Central Optometric Society.

Dr. Allison is a Board Member of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce, member and 1st Vice-President of the Junior Auxiliary of Indianola, member of the Belzoni-Humphreys County Industrial Development Foundation, the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Leadership Washington County, 2007.
